Alexis’s journey is a testament to resilience and determination. While serving at the Shawnee County Jail, she started the KU CDI Program, a transformative educational initiative. Despite the challenging environment, she began and completed the program while still in jail. She demonstrated an unwavering commitment to personal growth and education. 

This experience ignited a deep-seated devotion to support others in similar situations. Alexis understands firsthand the struggles and barriers faced by those seeking recovery and is committed to providing the necessary tools and support to help them succeed.
